Ezy Quote Privacy Policy
Ezy Quote is provided by EVStudioApp. This policy explains how the current offline Android app handles information. For privacy questions, contact alex@evstudioapp.com.
Information you enter
Ezy Quote stores information you choose to enter on your device to help you create quotes and invoices and manage customers and jobs. This can include:
- Your business name, address, email, phone number, tax identifier and payment instructions.
- Customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers and addresses.
- Quotes, invoices, prices, tax and discount amounts, dates, payment records and document terms.
- Job schedules, private notes and photos you choose to attach.
- Your language, currency and other app settings, plus unfinished document drafts.
Payment records are amounts and notes you enter. The current app does not process payments, connect to bank accounts or offer paid subscriptions.
On-device processing
The app stores and processes these records locally. It has no remote account, cloud synchronisation, advertising SDK or analytics SDK, and its Android package does not request internet access. EVStudioApp does not receive your business records through the app. We do not sell those records or use them for advertising.
Address suggestions come from customer records already saved on your device. The current app does not send address searches to an external service or access your device's contacts or location.
Photos and files
You choose photos and backup files through Android's file picker. The app processes selected photos locally and stores reduced-size copies with the job. It does not automatically upload your photos. Private job notes and photos are excluded from customer quote and invoice PDFs.
Sharing and exports
PDFs are generated on your device. When you choose to share a PDF, Android lets you select another app and recipient. When you save a PDF or backup, you choose the destination, which may include a cloud storage provider. Information then handled by the selected app, recipient or storage provider is subject to their own privacy practices.
PDFs are not password-encrypted by Ezy Quote. Review them and their recipients before sharing. Encrypted backups contain your business records, including private notes and attached photos.
Security and backup passwords
Local records are stored in the app's private storage and rely on your device's security protections. Ezy Quote does not require an account password to open; someone with access to your unlocked device may be able to view your records. Use a secure device screen lock.
Exported backups are encrypted with AES-GCM using a key derived from the password you choose. We do not receive or store that password and cannot reset it or decrypt a backup for you. Keep the password and backup safe. There is no email reset or cloud recovery service.
Retention and deletion
Records stay on your device until you remove them. Use Settings → Delete all data in Ezy Quote to clear the app's saved business records and drafts. Clearing the app's storage in Android or uninstalling it also removes its local storage. There is no remote Ezy Quote account to delete.
Sharing creates temporary PDF copies in the app's private cache. Copies older than seven days are removed when the app next starts. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling the app removes that cache. Deleting records inside the app does not remove files you have already exported, backups stored elsewhere, or copies held by recipients. Delete those separately from the places where you saved or shared them.
We cannot recover local records after deletion without a backup you can decrypt. Keep a backup before uninstalling or clearing storage if you need to retain your records.
Support enquiries
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you include. We use that correspondence to respond to your enquiry and resolve support issues. Please avoid sending customer records or other sensitive information unless necessary. You can contact the same address to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable legal retention obligations.
Children
Ezy Quote is a business tool for tradespeople and other service providers. It is not directed at children.
Platform and website services
Google Play, Android and any apps you choose for sharing or file storage operate under their own privacy policies. Visiting this policy on the EVStudioApp website is separate from using the offline app; the website's hosting provider processes connection information needed to deliver the page.
Updates and contact
We will update this policy if the app's data practices change, including before introducing cloud features, live address lookup or subscriptions that change data handling. The effective date above identifies this version.
